Vintage Hippie 70s Indian Cotton Gauze Dress w Metallic Stripe and Peaccok Embroidery - M
Brand Poppy's Vintage Clothing
From the 1970s here's a gauze cotton dress which is decorated with vertical metallic stripes in gold with finer stripes in magenta, gold and blue down the gauzy cotton skirt and along the sleeves. The bodice is made of quilted blue satin and decorated with peacock motifs in gold thread and gold sequins. The dress is made of 100% cotton, except for the satin bodice, cuffs and horizontal bands on the skirt. The cotton is woven in a lightweight gauzy construction, great for summer wear. It is printed in blue with cloud-like patches and wisps in white, almost like tie-dye. The dress has no closures except for four buttons at the open neckline - otherwise, it simply fits over the head.
