Vintage 1970s Disco Suit 3 Piece Light Blue Wool Sz M

This is a vintage 1970s disco suit consisting of three piece made of light blue pure virgin wool.  The jacket to this vintage 1970s disco suit has wide peaked lapels, a single button front, four button cuffs and has a 12” centre vent at the bottom back.  There is a pocket at the chest and a flapped pocket at either side - the flap can be hidden inside the pocket if desired (as posed).  It is half lined in printed pattern acetate.  The vest has shawl lapels, a six button double breasted closure, and a two flapped pocket front.  All buttons are covered in matching wool fabric.  The pants to this vintage 1970s disco suit have a flat panel front and a flared leg.

Sizing: No size is indicated, but this vintage 1970s disco suit should fit a medium size (US 38/40) - please rely on the following measurements for fit:

Jacket:

Shoulders: 17 1/2” across from shoulder/sleeve seam to shoulder/sleeve seam

Sleeves: 25 1/2” from the shoulder/sleeve seam

Sleeve inseam: 17”

Chest:  42” around, taken under the arms

Waist:  38” around, buttoned

Overall length:  30”, measured flat at the back from the neck seam

Vest:

Chest:  40” around, taken under the arm openings

Bottom:  36”

Length:  24 1/2” measured flat to the front point

Pants:

Waist:  35”

Leg inseam:  30 1/2” - there is an extra 2 3/4” of fabric inside the hem

Length:  40 1/2” 

Condition: This vintage 1970s disco suit is in very good condition - the only issue is that the lining is detached at the vent (see last close-up photo, an easy fix) and there is a tiny pinhead hole at the bottom back of the jacket, visible in the close-up photo of the cuff buttons, very minor.
