Vintage Chanel Paris Suit Tweed with Sequins - Fall 2003

This is a fabulous classic tweed boucle suit made in France by Chanel Paris.  The suit has all of the iconic detail associated with Chanel - four pocket front on the jacket, squared shoulders, slight taper at the waist, metal Chanel logo buttons edged in seed pearls, woven Chanel logo silk lining, gold chain along the interior hemline, knee length skirt and a Chanel double C logo studded with seed pearls at the left waistline of the skirt.  The tweed is woven in tan, white and brown colors and has aurora sequins affixed overall that reflect different colors - blue, pink, purple and yellow/green.

Fabric:  Content label reads “52% Cotton / 22% Linen / 15% Spandex / 6% Polyester / 5% Nylon”.  The lining is 95% silk and 5% Lycra spandex.

Sizing: The size label reads French size 40, which should be equivalent to a US size 10, but please note the following measurements for fit:

Jacket:

Shoulders:  16” across from one shoulder/sleeve seam to the other 

Sleeves:  22” long from the shoulder/sleeve

Sleeve inseam:  15 1/2”

Bust:  35” around, taken under the arm openings

Waist: 31” around

Length:  22”, measured flat

Skirt:  

Waist:  28”

Hips:  36” around

Length:  22” measured flat

Condition: It's in excellent with no wear, tear, holes, stains, odors or wear.  The sequins appear to be fully intact.
