Vintage Christian Dior Le Connaisseur Tuxedo Tails Only 41 R

This is a pair of vintage Christian Dior Le Connaisseur tuxedo tails made of black wool with black satin trim.  The “Le Connaisseur” line was introduced in 1985 and was touted at that time by the chairman of Dior as “the top of the Dior line or the luxury of luxuries”.  I believe that the line was discontinued during the early 90s, but I’m not sure.  These vintage Christian Dior Le Connaisseur tuxedo tails are made in classic style with padded shoulders, long shawl lapels in black satin, six covered black satin button front with a cutaway bottom.  It has two buttons with a pleated bottom back.  It is fully lined in grey viscose or acetate that is woven throughout with the “CD” logo.  No pants are included with these vintage Christian Dior Le Connaisseur tuxedo tails.

Age: sometime between 1985 and 1995, but most likely dating to the earlier part of that date range

Condition:  These vintage Christian Dior Le Connaisseur tuxedo tails are in excellent condition with no pronounced wear, tear, staining or odour.
