This is a vintage 1940s tie, perhaps early 50s, featuring an abstract design in colours of pink, red, black and white against a green background.  The design consists of what looks like feathers and ribbon.  The background fabric is embossed with a satin design. The tie is unsigned, without a label.  The necktie is in excellent condition with no signs of wear, tear or odour, very clean and looks almost unused.  The tie measures 52 1/2” in length and has a width of 3 1/4” at its widest.  This is a striking vintage 1940s tie - wonderful mid-century design!
