This is a vintage 1940s tie featuring a floral design in white along with a ribbon in tones of pink, grey and white against a blue background.  I believe that the flowers may be daffodils.  The background fabric is embossed with a satin swirl design.  The label reads “Himelhoch’s Detroit” - Himelhoch’s was a Detroit department store established in 1907   This vintage 1940s tie is in excellent condition with no signs of wear, tear, staining or odour with the exception of a tiny, light yellowish mark on the lining of the wide blade.  The tie measures 51” in length and has a width of 4 1/2” at its widest.  This is a wonderful vintage 1940s tie featuring a striking design!
