This is a vintage Hermes Art Des Steppes silk tie designed by Annie Faivre in 1991. The pattern features horses of the steppes within an ornately detailed and colourful background. This Hermes Art Des Steppes silk tie is printed in tones of red, orange, ochre, beige, green, violet blue, light blue, turquoise and black. It measures 57 1/2” in length and has a width of 3 3/8” at its widest. It is in very good condition - there is a light mark on the turquoise part of the horse, barely noticeable, and sure to come out with a dry cleaning, otherwise clean and without wear or tear. The tie has the retailer’s label affixed to it - Holt Renfrew of Canada. This is a wonderful collectible vintage Hermes Art Des Steppes silk tie - interesting pattern in attractive colours!
