This is an iconic Studio Line porcelain bread & butter plate made by Rosenthal Germany in the Metropol pattern, a Memphis style design by Barbara Brenner. The piece measures 7 in diameter. The underside is stamped Rosenthal Germany. Metropol was produced from 1990 until 1998. I have two of these for sale, price is for one plate only - one of them still has its original foil control label on the underside. . Each of these bread & butter plates is in excellent condition with no signs of use - in fact, I doubt that they were ever used. Wonderful display piece, highly sought after Memphis design inspired plate - superior Rosenthal quality!
