This is an iconic Studio Line porcelain ramekin or small bowl, maybe for dipping, made by Rosenthal Germany in the Metropol pattern, a Memphis style design by Barbara Brenner. The piece is hexagonal and measures 3 3/4 in diameter by 1 7/8 in height. The underside is stamped Rosenthal Germany. Metropol was produced from 1990 until 1998. This small bowl is in excellent condition with no signs of use - in fact, I doubt that this was ever used. Wonderful display piece, highly sought after Memphis design inspired bowl - superior Rosenthal quality!
