This is an iconic Studio Line porcelain salad plate made by Rosenthal Germany in the Metropol pattern, a Memphis style design by Barbara Brenner. The plate measures 8 3/4 in diameter. The underside is stamped Rosenthal Germany. Metropol was produced from 1990 until 1998. This salad plate is in excellent condition with no signs of use - in fact, I doubt that they were ever used. Wonderful display piece, highly sought after Memphis design inspired plate - superior Rosenthal quality!
