Art Deco Fashion Shawl 1920s Printed Silk Floral with Fringe

This is a fringed silk shawl featuring a lovely floral and fern pattern printed in red, yellow, turquoise, purple, brown and black. These type of shawls were called piano shawls because they were often used to cover pianos as a decorative technique. The silk has a floral pattern woven into it.
The piece measures 43" by 44", exclusive of the fringe, which measures 12" in length. It is in very good condition with the exception of seven small holes, all less than 1/4" in width (see last two close-up photos for examples). Despite the holes, the silk appears to be strong - I don't think that there is any danger of the silk disintegrating, but maybe it would be a good idea to darn the existing holes.
This is a gorgeous piano shawl....lush pattern...
