1960s Vintage Sport Coat Green Check Wool Blazer Size M

This is a wonderful 1960s vintage sport coat made in an attractive tone of green with teal green and olive green checking.  This 1960s vintage sport coat is made with padded shoulders, medium width notched lapels and has a two button front. There is a flapped pocket at either side and a pocket at the left chest - there is a faux flapped pocket above the right side pocket.  The sleeves have single button split cuffs and the jacket has a double vent back.  It is half lined in a red striped copper toned acetate fabric. 

Label: Only a Canadian ACWU union label that was in use from 1962 until 1976  

Fabric:  Lightweight wool worsted in a pebbled finish

Sizing: No size is indicated on this 1960s vintage sport coat and although it should fit a medium size (US 38) - please rely on the following measurements for fit: 

Shoulders:  18” across seam to seam

Sleeves:  25 1/2” from the shoulder seam

Sleeve Inseam:  18”

Chest: 42” around

Waist: 39” 

Length: 29 1/2”, measured flat

Condition:  This 1960s vintage sport coat is in very good condition with no pronounced wear, tear, staining or odour.  There is, however, a mark at the left cuff that matches the colour of the check (see last close-up photo), so I’m fairly sure that it is original to the making of the jacket.  It would benefit from a pressing.
