This is a beautiful quality pair of unused black leather gloves that were made in France by Maison Fabre.  They came with a lot of gloves that I recently acquired, most unused and most dating to the 1950s and 60s although these, I believe, are more recent.  They are in like-new condition, as they are still connected with their original string and still with their original foil tag.  They have been well stored in their original plastic bag.  The interior of the left glove retains a label that reads “Maison Fabre a Millau depuis 1924” and another that reads “Pure Silk” while the right hand glove is labeled as size 9 1/2.  The hang tag also reads “Maison Fabre a Millau depuis 1924”.  Maison Fabre is a quality French glove maker, founded in 1924 in Millau by Etienne Fabre and is still family owned and operated - a pair of Fabre gloves will set you back from about 200 to 400 euros.  This pair, as mentioned, are sized as a 9 1/2 - they have a length of 10” to the middle finger and measure 4 1/4” across the palm - although there is some stretch, please be aware of this measurement, perhaps measure another pair of gloves that you may own and know that new gloves need to be worked in.  The middle finger measures 4 1/4” in length.

This is a beautiful quality pair of unused silk lined gloves - I’m unsure of the leather, but it is very soft, and I think that Maison Fabre uses primarily lambskin.  Great pair of French gloves!
