Vintage 60s Summer Dress Sleeveless Beige Linen Sheath Sz M

This is a 60s summer dress made in a sleeveless beige linen sheath style.  This 60s summer dress has a bateau neckline with a decorative polka dot scarf hanging from a slot under the centre neckline.  There is a flapped faux pocket at either lower side, each with a decorative button.  This 60s summer dress closes at the back with a nylon zipper.  It is fully lined in a beige acetate fabric.

Sizing:  No size is indicated on this 60s summer dress, and although this should fit a medium size, please rely on the following measurements for fit, keeping the style of the garment in mind (please measure your body or a similar garment that you might own for comparison):

Bust: 33” around, taken at the arm openings

Waist: 28” around

Hips:  35” around

Overall length: 36", measured flat from the top of the shoulder to the hemline

Condition: This 60s summer dress is in very good condition with no pronounced wear, tear, stains or odors, but someone lengthened the dress by re-doing the hem, so the original hemline is showing.  Personally, I would restore the original length, firstly, to get rid of the line, but also to make the dress more in keeping with its original design intent.  There is also a bit of stitching loss at the back bottom centre seam and I also noticed a very small, light mark on the scarf, but this is very minor and probably would come out.
