This is an iconic Studio Line porcelain coffee pot made by Rosenthal Germany in the Metropol pattern, a Memphis style design by Barbara Brenner. The piece is made in the Scenario shape, featuring geometric form. The coffee pot has a height of 5 1/2, exclusive of its pyramid-like lid and has a capacity of 5 cups. The design is signed at the back with B. Brenner and with Rosenthal. The underside is stamped Rosenthal Germany Scenario Design: Barbara Brenner with Barbara Brenners signature. Metropol was produced from 1990 until 1998. This coffee pot is in excellent condition with no signs of use - in fact, I doubt that this was ever used. Wonderful display piece, highly sought after Memphis design inspired coffee pot - superior Rosenthal quality!
