This is a vintage cocktail party dress made by Victor Costa and sold at Holt Renfrew.  The dress is strapless, with an above the knee length.  The dress is printed with small flowers in red, green and white.  It has eight large black grosgrain bows down the front.  The dress is fully lined and does up the back with a nylon zipper.  The exterior appears to be a cotton fabric.

Label: Victor Costa - this particular label appears to have been used during the 1980s, so the dress would date to the late 80s or early 90s.  Victor Costa started with Suzy Perrette in 1965, copying Paris models for the label.  In 1974 he bought out the Ann Murray company, renaming it Victor Costa.  He is known for copying French and American designer clothing and offering his versions at a more affordable price (info courtesy of the Vintage Fashion Guild).  It also has a “Crafted with Pride in the USA” - this label was first used in 1986.

Sizing: No size is indicated, but this should fit a woman that fits a size medium - please rely on the following measurements for fit:

Hips: 36”

Overall length: 28 1/2”, measured flat from the top of the bodice to the hemline

Condition:  It is in very good condition - clean with no wear, tear or other defect.  This dress looks to have seen little use and was well stored over the years.
