1980s Vintage Ralph Lauren Skirt Floral Pattern Size 12

This is a wonderful 1980s vintage Ralph Lauren skirt featuring a floral pattern.  This vintage Ralph Lauren skirt is gathered under the waistband so that it falls beautifully in drapes.  It closes at the left side waist with a button and buttonhole, but there is also a hook that is placed in such a way so as to make the waist smaller - you could move either the button or hook to adjust the waist size.  It has a shallow pocket at the opening where the closure is.

Label: Ralph Lauren Blue Polo Player label with “made in Malaysia”. Lauren dropped the polo player from the ladies wear label in 1991. 

Fabric:  80% cotton / 20% wool

Colours:  pattern is in tones of green, brown, muted orange, blue against a rust red background

Sizing:  Size 12 is indicated, but please note the following measurements for fit of this vintage Ralph Lauren skirt :

Waist:  32” buttoned 29” hooked - as mentioned, the button and/or hook can be moved 

Hips:  38” - meant to fall on the hip

Hemline:  80” around

Overall length: 34“, measured flat

Condition:  This vintage Ralph Lauren skirt is in very good condition with no wear, tear, staining or odour - it looks to have seen very little use and has been well kept.
