Vintage Tootal Fringed Paisley Scarf Blue and Green 1940s 50s Mens Fashion

This is a vintage Tootal fringed men’s scarf featuring a wonderful paisley pattern in bright green, navy blue and yellow against a greyish blue background colour.  The fringe is in blue.

Age: 1940s / 1950s

Label: Tootal Reg’d Made in England Wash As Silk

Material: No fabric label, but I think that Tootal produced rayon blends in a challis texture, but not exclusively blends, sometimes they were 100% cotton or 100% rayon - this scarf is soft with good weight and fall, very nice quality no matter what.

Size: 45” long, exclusive of fringe, and 51” long including the 3” fringe at either side.  It has a width of 10 1/2”.

Condition:  It is in very good condition with no stains, wear or tear - this scarf looks like it saw little use and was well stored over the years.

This is an attractive scarf - Tootal produced wonderful fabrics!
