Vintage Herend Apponyi Green (Chinese Bouquet) Handled Leaf Dish – AV Pattern

This is a vintage Herend porcelain handled leaf dish in the Apponyi Green pattern, also known as Chinese Bouquet Green (AV).

The dish is molded in a leaf form with softly sculpted veins and a textured rim, and it is hand painted with a central green floral spray. A delicate green border with gilt accents frames the interior, while the rim is finished with a bright gold edge. The handle is also decorated with green and gold detailing.

The underside is marked with the blue Herend shield stamp reading “Herend Hungary” and “Handpainted,”, used during the 1960s. The numbers “1200” and “311” are hand inscribed beneath the mark, and “Herend” is lightly impressed above the numbers.

A lovely collector piece in one of Herend’s most recognizable green patterns, and a beautiful accent for display or serving.
