Vintage Beswick Champion Beagle Wendover Billy Figurine

This vintage Beswick porcelain figurine depicts the celebrated Champion Beagle "Wendover Billy," one of the breed studies produced by the renowned English pottery firm Beswick. Expertly modelled with a proud stance and alert expression, the figure is hand-painted in realistic tri-colour beagle markings of brown, black and white.

The underside bears the Beswick England backstamp along with the impressed model information identifying the figure as "CH Wendover Billy." The small white marking on the back of the neck is part of the original decoration and not damage.

A wonderful addition to a collection of Beswick animals or for the beagle lover!

Condition

Excellent condition.

No chips, cracks, crazing, repairs or other damage noted. The glaze remains bright and attractive. The white marking on the back of the neck is original to manufacture and decoration.
