This is a vintage children’s toy Akro Agate "Little American Maid" tea set made in blue and white slag glass. The set consists of three cups, four saucers, a “teapot” with cover, a sugar bowl, a creamer and two plates. The set would be complete except for one missing cup. Everything appears to be in great original condition with no chips, cracks or wear. The plates measure 3 1/4” in diameter, the saucers measure 2 3/4” in diameter and the teapot measures 2 1/2” in height. Each piece is marked on the underside with the Akro Agate “crow” mark. As mentioned, the set is missing one cup; otherwise complete. Replacement cups are known to surface, making this an excellent opportunity to complete a classic Akro Agate toy tea set….
