Vintage 1970s Sulka Blue Woven Silk Tie Mens Necktie

This is vintage mens necktie made by the venerable A. Sulka & Co. of Paris, London and New York.  A. Sulka was a high end luxury men’s brand founded in 1893 in New York by Amos Sulka - despite a focus on men’s clothing, they also carried some women’s accessories.  This tie just smacks of the 1970s, but is a cut above the usual!  It is made of beautiful quality silk woven in diagonal striped bands in tones of blue running from light to dark - you need to look at the detail in the weave to appreciate the quality. It is in very good condition, clean and ready to wear.  It measures 56” in length and 4 3/8” in width at its widest.  The tie loop reads “Sulka The World’s Finest Neckwear London - Paris - New York”.

Beautiful quality, very collectible - they don’t make quality like this anymore!
