This is a vintage 1970s men’s tweed overcoat, designed by Ruven Feder Paris for Utex, and made in Canada. The coat is styled in a double-breasted cut with military type broad peaked lapels, a fitted waist, buttoned belt tabs at the cuffs, and a single buttoned half-belt at the back. It has a structured silhouette typical of the early-to mid-1970s, with a tailored shape that emphasizes the shoulders and chest.

The fabric is a textured blue-grey tweed flecked with beige and oatmeal tones. The coat is fully lined in deep quilted satin for warmth and durability, and closes with large navy buttons arranged in a classic eight-button double row.

Sizing (measured flat and doubled where applicable).  Although this is sized as a US/Canadian 38, that appears to be a very fitted sizing - a US 36 might be more comfortable, so please rely on the following measurements for fit:

Shoulders: 17 – 17 ½″ seam to seam

Sleeves: 25″

Sleeve inseam: 17 ½″

Chest: 42″ around underarms

Waist: 38″

Length: 41 ½″ from back neck seam to hem

Condition:  In excellent condition with no notable wear, tear, or stains. The lining and exterior are sound, and all buttons are intact.
