This vintage 1970s green wool coat by Marie France Creations is a fine example of tailored outerwear. Made in Canada from pure virgin wool, the coat features a structured silhouette with wide lapels, a button front closure, and a matching belt that creates a flattering fitted shape.

The coat has large patch pockets with decorative topstitching, tailored seams, and a fully lined interior. The bright emerald green colour is very characteristic of early 1970s fashion and makes this a standout vintage piece.

The Canadian ILGWU union label was in use from 1968 until 1984.
