This is a vintage 1960s dress with matching overcoat, both made from a pink rayon satin brocade woven with a metallic thread. The dress has a fitted bodice with short or cap sleeves, a defined waist, and a straight skirt. It closes at the back with a zipper. The coordinating overcoat closes with a hook and eye at the neck, but otherwise is designed to be worn open, with a slightly boxy fit and bracelet-length sleeves.

The dress bears a Canadian union label used from 1968 to 1984, placing production in the late 1960s or early 1970s.
