Vintage 1950s Stetson China Bowls Tahiti Pattern Pink Leaves
This is a set of three vintage Stetson China Tahiti dinner plates made in the Tahiti pattern by Stetson China of Lincoln, Illinois. They are stamped on the underside with “Copyright 1956 Handpainted Under-Glaze”. Because they are hand painted, although very similar, there are small differences. They are made of glazed earthenware and are fairly shallow, suitable for soup. This pattern is known as Tahiti, but I’ve only seen it made with green leaves - this pink variation seems unusual. Each measures 8 1/4” in diameter with a height of 1 1/2”. They are all in very good condition - there may be some other slight crazing visible in close-ups, but nothing that is perceived under normal viewing, these present themselves very well.
Price is for all three of these vintage Stetson China Tahiti bowls - wonderful 50s era design….
