Val St Lambert Patelle Glass Centerpiece XL Bowl René Delvenne 15” 13 lbs

This is a gorgeous Val St Lambert Patelle glass centrepiece XL bowl made by Belgian glass maker Val St. Lambert, known for quality crystal glass.  It is made in the Patelle shape, designed by René Delvenne.  It is one of the largest pieces of Val St. Lambert that I’ve seen, measuring about 15” in diameter with a height of 3 3/4” at its edge, and, due to the lead content in the crystal, weighs a whopping 13 lbs and 2 oz!  It is made in an olive yellow colour, very attractive.  It is in very good condition with visible scratching to the underside of the glass from surface contact, and a chip to the edge of the base, not visible unless turned around and inspected (see last close-up photos).  In addition, there is a tiny scuff to the topside, barely noticeable, and could be buffed, but really negligible so I wouldn’t bother.  It is unsigned, but this is normal for this model.  Exceptional quality Val St Lambert Patelle glass centrepiece XL bowl in an attractive colour!
