Vintage Blue Grey Fur Felt Fedora – Sauvé Frères Montreal – Size 7 – 1950s 1960s
This vintage Canadian fur felt fedora was retailed by Sauvé Frères of Montreal and likely dates to the late 1950s to early 1960s.
It features a deep blue-grey felt body, structured crown, stitched brim edge, and a black woven hatband with multi-colour feather accent. The interior retains its original Sauvé Frères liner with French wording.
Construction details are consistent with mid-century Montreal hat manufacturing, including examples associated with Magill Hat Manufacturing Co., though that particular manufacturer attribution is speculative on my part.
