Royal Crown Derby Medford coffee pot Burford shape

Vintage 1960s Royal Crown Derby Medford Coffee Pot Burford Shape 6 Cup Capacity

$225.00

This elegant vintage coffee pot was produced by Royal Crown Derby in the Medford pattern on the attractive Burford shape. Introduced in 1944, Medford features trailing green ivy leaves accented by delicate blue blossoms and hand-applied gilding. The design is enhanced by embossed decoration around the lower body, giving the piece both visual and tactile appeal.

The underside and interior lid both bear the Royal Crown Derby backstamp with the date code XXX, dating this example to 1967, the final year of Medford (Burford) production. The tall, graceful form, elongated spout and ornate gilded details make it a striking display piece as well as a practical serving pot.

Crafted from fine English bone china, this coffee pot holds approximately six cups and would make a beautiful addition to a Royal Crown Derby collection, an English tea and coffee service, or a traditional dining table.
