This is a gorgeous centrepiece bowl made by Belgian glass maker Val St. Lambert, known for quality crystal glass. It is made in a eye or teardrop swirl form with a pink coloured glass that lightens to clear at its centre and foot - note that the colour takes on a warmer tone depending on setting. It measures about 14 1/4 by 10 1/2 with a height of 3 5/8 and, due to the lead content in the crystal, weighs 10 lbs! It is in very good condition with no chips or wear, except for a visible surface scratch to the topside of the glass (see last close-up photo) and a couple of smaller scratches that are barely noticeable. The underside, of course, has some scratching due to surface contact. Exceptional quality and size in an attractive colour!
