This is a mid century West German pottery vase made by Scheurich and decorated in the Foligno pattern. The vase is handled and glazed in a beige tone with brown accenting. It measures 15 1/2 in height and 9 in diameter not including its handle. It is signed on the underside with W. Germany and 489 39. It is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or wear - any finishing defects (see last close-up photo) are underglaze and original to the making of the piece.
Nice sized vase, would pose well on the floor.
