This is an original 11 December 1920 issue of La Vie Parisienne, the French weekly known for its blend of fashion illustration, social commentary, and erotic humour during the Belle Époque and early Art Deco eras. This issue includes a two-page centre illustration by Maurice Millière, regarded as one of the founding figures of boudoir art, influencing illustrators to come, including Alberto Vargas. The beautifully illustrated cover, signed by Léo Fontan, presents a festive holiday scene (“Noel Approche - Le Porte-Bonheur”) typical of La Vie Parisienne’s seasonal themes.
