This is a t-shirt commemorating the Foot Soldiers Reunion for the 50th Anniversary of the 1965 Selma March, the original site of Good Trouble often cited by John Lewis. The t-shirt has a silkscreened photo of the Foot Soldiers crossing the Edmund Pettus Bridge. The Edmund Pettus Bridge was the site of the brutal beating of Civil Rights Movement demonstrators, including eventual US congressional representative John Lewis, as they were attempting to march to the state capital of Alabama, Montgomery. This event is referred to as “Bloody Sunday”. This Good Trouble t-shirt is pre-owned, and came from the estate of a prominent lawyer. It was made in the Dominican Republic and has a Gildan label that sizes it as a large. Although pre-owned, it looks like it was never used. Not an old t-shirt, but definitely not common - wonderful t-shirt celebrating Good Trouble!
