This is an antique tintype photo featuring a man in a studio pose, standing with a hand on a chair and with a paisley shawl covered table to the side. His cheeks are tinted pink - subtle, but definitely present. The tintype measures 2 3/16 by 3 1/4 (about a 1/6 plate) and is in good condition with the exception of a bit of a kink to the lower left (see close-up photo). Nothing special about this image, but a good documentary of the style of beard and clothing used at the time. Nice old tintype to add to a collection.
