Antique Lace Collar Floral Guipure Appliqué Dress Trim 1910s-1920s

This vintage floral lace collar features an elegant scrolling and rosette design in cream cotton lace. The collar is constructed in a guipure or tape lace style with openwork bars and raised floral motifs inspired by earlier Venetian lace patterns. The dramatic curved form suggests that it was originally intended for a dress or blouse neckline.

The lace displays a beautiful airy structure with repeating floral medallions surrounding scrolling ribbon-like forms.
