Antique Belleek Ireland Lotus Pattern Creamer and Sugar Bowl Set 3rd Black Mark c.1926-1946
This Belleek porcelain creamer and open sugar bowl set is made in the Lotus pattern and dates to the 1926-1946 period, as confirmed by the 3rd black Belleek mark to the underside of both pieces.
The set features softly moulded lotus blossoms, leaves and flowing aquatic stems in low relief against Belleek’s signature creamy parian porcelain body. The interiors display a warm yellowish pearlescent lustre, while the gently undulating rims enhance the organic Art Nouveau-inspired design.
The creamer has a graceful loop handle and flowing spout paired with a matching open sugar bowl, both beautifully modelled with Belleek’s delicate translucent porcelain body. The Lotus pattern is among the more refined moulded floral designs produced by Belleek during the early 20th century.
