Vintage 1990s Christian Lacroix Suit Yellow, Pink & Black Woven Fabric

This is a vintage 1990s Christian Lacroix skirt suit.  The jacket has padded shoulders and the skirt is made in an above the knee length.

The jacket does up with 3 glass buttons and also has matching smaller buttons on the cuffs.  I am including the 2 silky floral brooches with rhinestone pistels that were on the jacket lapel when I purchased the suit.

It is made of a wonderful woven fabric consisting of 70% Polyamide, 15% Cotton and 15% Acrylic

The lining is pink & yellow striped and is made of cupro.  Cupro is similiar to rayon as it is made of a cellulose base. 

Cupro derives its name from the process "cuprammonium" which is used to process the cotton and wood pulp that from its base material. The woven fabric is most interesting as it combines a vivid yellow, a yellow green, a bit of pale blue, pink with a metallic finish on a black background, most striking.

Skirt:   Waist -  36"    Hips -  44"        Overall Length - 21 1/2"
