This charming vintage child’s handkerchief dates to the 1950s and features a playful clock face surrounded by favourite nursery toys, including a teddy bear, toy train, rocking horse, ball, pram, and rag doll. The printed rhyme within the clock reads:
“About five o’clock—when tea is done—out come the toys one by one.”
The design is printed in red, yellow, white, and soft blue on fine cotton, finished with a red rolled hem.
