1950s Bobby Lee Imperial Homburg Hat – Black Fur Felt – Magill Montreal Size 7 1/2
This circa 1950s Bobby Lee Imperial Homburg hat was made by the Magill Hat Manufacturing Co. of Montreal, one of Canada’s established mid-century hat makers.
Crafted in genuine black fur felt, this classic Homburg features a structured crown with centre crease, a tightly curled bound brim, and a traditional formal silhouette associated with mid-century menswear. The gold-embossed sweatband reads “Bobby Lee – Genuine Fur Felt,” and the original Imperial liner crest remains intact.
With its 1 3/4" brim and 4 3/4" crown height, this vintage Homburg maintains crisp proportions typical of the late 1940s to 1950s era. A refined alternative to the fedora, the Homburg pairs well with formal tailoring, black tie, or classic mid-century styling.
