Vintage 1940s Ladies Pyjamas Rayon Lounging Pajamas Size L

This is a pair of vintage 1940s ladies pyjamas made of rayon in a salmon tone of pink.  These vintage 1940s ladies pyjamas consist of wide leg bottoms with an elasticized waistband and a top that cinches at the waist with two ties.  The top has a V shaped neckline and is embroidered at the opening and shoulders with cross stitching and flowers - the edge of the cap sleeves are also similarly embroidered with flowers. 

Label: None, except for the cardboard size tag on the bottoms

Sizing: Size L is indicated, and although these vintage 1940s ladies pyjamas should fit a large size, please rely on the following measurements for fit:

Pyjama Top:

Shoulders:  14” across from shoulder seam to shoulder seam

Bust: 40” around, taken under the arms, but should not fit tightly

Waist:  39” around, should be cinched with ties

Overall length: 25", measured flat

Pyjama Bottoms:

Waist:  24” around unstretched, stretches out to as much as 40”, however, comfortable size would be somewhere in between

Length:  42”

Leg Inseam:  26”.  

Bottom leg circumference:  28”

Condition: These vintage 1940s ladies pyjamas are in excellent condition - they look like they saw little no use.
