Brand Poppy's Vintage Clothing

This is an early 60s Jackie Kennedy era ladies’ cream white wool spring coat.  This 1960s spring coat is made with a squared collar and neckline, wrist length sleeves, an eight gold toned button double breasted front closure and slant side pockets.  The back is belted with a combination brass metal and matching wool chain.  The coat is cut with a slight flare to the hemline.  The interior is fully lined in yellowish white acetate.

Label: Wilson’s Pure Virgin Wool with the Woolmark logo

Sizing: There is no size label, and although this 1960s spring coat should fit a small to medium size, please rely on the following measurements for fit, taking the thickness of the fabric and the style of the coat into account:

Shoulders:  15” across seam-to-seam

Sleeves:  22” from the shoulder seam

Sleeve Inseam:  15”

Bust: 38” around

Waist: 34” around

Hips:  40” around

Hemline:  74” around, laid straight

Length: 38”, measured flat at the back from the neck seam

Condition:  This 1960s spring coat is in very good condition with no tears, stains, odour or pronounced wear but the lining has yellowish discolouration towards the bottom - looks worse in the photos than in real life.  This 1960s spring coat looks to have seen little use and was well cared for over the years.

This is a nice quality coat similar to styles worn by Jackie Kennedy - well made, this is an attractive 1960s spring coat!
