Vintage Mens White Silk Dinner Jacket Hand Tailored Sz M

This is a men’s cream coloured / off white silk dinner jacket hand tailored in Canada using a quality Shantung silk fabric.   

This silk dinner jacket has medium width shawl lapels and a single button closure.  The shoulders are padded and the sleeves have split cuffs.  There is a jetted pocket at either side (no flap) and a pocket at the left chest.  The jacket is fully lined in an off-white satin fabric.  It has two interior pockets and no back vent.   

Label: F Gerome & Fils Fait a la main Tailleurs (Made by hand tailors) Montreal Canada.  The tailor’s label has a date of “3-87” on it

Sizing: No size is indicated as this silk dinner jacket is hand tailored, but it should fit about a size 40, but note the shorter arms - please rely on the following measurements for fit, taken from the exterior (please note the length of the sleeves):

Shoulders: 19” across shoulder/sleeve seam to shoulder/sleeve seam 

Sleeves: 23 1/2” from shoulder/sleeve seam - there is an extra 2” of fabric inside the cuff

Sleeve Inseam: 15 1/2” long

Chest: 46” around, taken under the arms

Waist: 42”, around

Overall length: 32”, measured flat

Condition: This silk dinner jacket is in very good condition without pronounced wear, tear or soiling - it would benefit from a professional pressing as I cannot press it properly with an iron or steamer.
