Vintage 1960s Leopard Print Dress Cheongsam Style Size M

This is a wonderful 1960s leopard print dress.  This 1960s leopard print dress was inspired by the traditional Chinese Cheongsam style, but without the side shoulder opening.  The dress is sleeveless and has a narrow, notched high collar.  The bottom of the dress has a slit at the left side from the hemline almost up to the hip - the top of the slit is decorated with a black “frog” closure shaped appliqué.  The left shoulder is also decorated with two frog shaped appliqués. The dress is made in a sheath style but does not have the tight fit and accented waist that a Cheongsam has.  It is lined at the shoulder area only and is otherwise unlined.  It closes with a metal zipper at the back.

Material:  No content label, but a synthetic jersey (see last close-up photo), probably nylon based

Sizing: No size is indicated, and although this 1960s leopard print dressshould fit a medium size, please note the following measurements:

Bust: 36” around, taken under the arm openings 

Waist: 34”

Hips:  36”

Overall length: 56”

Condition: This 1960s leopard print dress is in very good condition with no wear, tear, stains or odour.  This dress was well cared for and stored over the years.
