Vintage 1970s Boho Dress Hippie Chic Paris Workshop Size M

This is a wonderful 1970s boho dress made with a combination of velvet and cotton fabrics. This 1970s boho dress takes design influence from traditional Afghani dresses that was very popular with young people/hippies during the late 60s and early 70s.  The dress has a deep V neckline that is trimmed in ornately printed cotton and the bodice is covered in paisley printed cotton and printed velvet.  The raglan style sleeves are cut very wide and full and have green velvet uppers that are printed to resemble corduroy - they have three button and loop cuffs in the same printed cotton as the bodice.  The skirt is gathered in tucks underneath the bodice, which gives the skirt fullness so that it falls in drapes. There is a pocket built into either side and the dress is lined below the bodice in blue cotton.  This 1970s boho dress has no closures so the dress simply fits over the head.

Shoulders:  17” estimated due to the raglan sleeve

Sleeves:  25” long from the estimated shoulder and 33 1/2” from the mid-neck, over the shoulder and down the sleeve to the end of the cuff

Sleeve inseam:  23”

Bust: 41” taken at the under arm (where the sleeve meets the side) - difficult to measure due to cut of sleeve

Waistline: 44” or more around, meant to fall loosely

Hips:  Full, meant to fall in drapes

Overall length: 45", measured flat from the neck to the hemline

Condition:  This 1970s boho dress is in very clean condition with no signs of wear, soiling, staining or odour.
