This is a fabulous hat made in a “folded pancake” shape. It is made in a natural straw with a complex layered weave and has two long hatpins with matching straw “ball” ends. The hat measures 12” by 15” across the brim.  The sweatband measures 17” around, but because the crown is meant to sit on the top of the head, this should fit a range of sized heads, from small to large, but would have to be secured with the two hatpins.  I’ve posed it in a number of ways, although I think that this should have been worn tilted back - I would wear it, however, in any position that suits you.  The hat is in very good condition with no pronounced wear or other defect.  There is no label.
