This is a book that is titled “6 Master-Designed Recreation Rooms”, published by the Canadian Forest Products Ltd - Pacific Veneer and Plywood Division. The book was published in 1961 and features six rooms - The Contemporary Room, The Tavern, The Western Room, The Polynesian Room, The Marine Room and The Salon. Each room has photos of it from different angles, floor plan, material list, working drawings, cutting diagrams and step-by-step instructions. The book consists of 78 pages with 19 page foreword section and 13 page template and index section at the back - 110 pages in all plus cover. The book is oblong cerlox bound. It measures 11” by 14” and weighs 1 lb and 12 oz. It is in very good condition with the exception of corner creasing and a small impact gouge to the open edge side, quite minor.
This is a wonderful reference to early 1960s interior decorating. I especially like the Polynesian Room, the Salon and the Contemporary Room. Fun book with some great decor ideas dating to 1961!
