Vintage Loro Piana Wool Overcoat Made in Italy Camel Color L

This is a men’s vintage Loro Piana wool overcoat made in Italy.  Loro Piana was founded during the early 19th century and produces exceptional quality wool.  This vintage Loro Piana wool overcoat is made in a classic style, with medium width lapels, a three button closure, four button cuffs, chest pocket and flapped pocket at either side and a 20” kick vent at the back.  The coat is made in a camel colour and is fully lined in a striped viscose fabric.

Label:  Fabric Made in Italy by Ing. Loro Piana & C Superfine Wool.  The neck loop reads “Made in italy”

Content label:  Virgin wool.  There is a date code of 04/01, so I think that this vintage Loro Piana wool overcoat dates to 2001.

Sizing: The content label on this vintage Loro Piana wool overcoat reads Italian size 52, which should be equivalent to a US size 42 - please rely on the following measurements for fit, taking the style of the coat (note the sleeve length) and the thickness of the fabric into account:

Shoulders:  19 1/2” across shoulder/sleeve seams 

Sleeves:  26 1/2” from the shoulder/sleeve seam

Sleeve Inseam:  17 1/2”

Chest: 48” around 

Waist: 46” around

Length: 48”, measured flat at the back from the neck seam

Condition:  This vintage Loro Piana wool overcoat is in excellent condition, clean with nice finish - the only signs of wear are a broken button to the left cuff, easy to replace, and maybe slight nappe wear to some edges, really minor.  This coat looks to have seen little use and was well stored.
