This is a wonderful 1950s era homburg style black fedora hat made by Stetson of Canada as part of the “Royal Stetson” line.  Canadian Stetson made quality equivalent to American Stetson, no difference. The hat is made in a very nice quality black fur felt.  The crown has a black grosgrain band and bow around its base.  The sweatband is gold stamped “Royal Stetson Made in Canada”.  The lining is also printed with “Royal Stetson” and with the Stetson coat-of-arms.  The keyhole foil label states size 7 - it measures 22” around the sweat band and 6 1/2” by 7 3/4” across the opening.  The brim measures 2” in width and the crown measures 5” in height.  The hat is in very good condition with no wear, tear, staining or odor - very clean and ready to wear, looks like it saw very little use.  This is a very nice quality hat - the older Stetson production is really superior to more recent production.  Sure to be noticed!
