1970s Vintage English Mohair Coat Violet Ladies Size M

This is a 1970s vintage English mohair coat made in a striking violet colour with vertical stripes of pink, green and black - the fabric is a mohair and wool blend.  This vintage English mohair coat has padded shoulders, long sleeves with turned half cuffs, high set wide notched lapels, an eight button double breasted front and a diagonal pocket at either side. The coat is lined in a polka dotted fabric that is backed with an interlining for added warmth.  

Label:  Jean Gamache Tailleur Granby.  Jean Gamache started working at his father’s tailor shop at the age of fourteen in 1958 and continued to work as a tailor for 60+ years.

Sizing: No size is indicated, and although this vintage English mohair coat should fit a medium size, please rely on the following measurements for fit (please take the style of the coat and thickness of the fabric into consideration):

Condition: This vintage English mohair coat is in very good condition with no pronounced wear, tear, staining or odour.  Otherwise this vintage English mohair coat looks to have seen little use and was well cared for over the last 50 or so years.
