Antique Nippon Coralene Porcelain Vase Patent Applied For 38257 6.25

This is an antique Nippon period Japanese porcelain vase that is decorated with a coralene floral design in lovely green, blue and purple colours generously trimmed in gold. The piece is matte glazed - note that the colours may be more brilliant under the bright photo lighting utilized for my photos. The underside of the vase is marked with Patent Applied For No 38257, with some Japanese characters - it is lightly stamped, so not completely legible. The vase measures 6 1/4 in height and is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or wear - there are a few tiny marks that I have not tried to clean off. This vase is extremely pretty and would make a wonderful addition to a collection of Nippon porcelain..beautiful design!
